SUPER SWAP MEET AND NOSTALGIA DRAGS MAKE FOR GREAT WEEKEND AT WILLOWBANK!

There’s a double reason to spend this weekend at Willowbank Raceway, with the Nostalgia Nationals being held over both days and the Super Swap Meet to be held on Saturday.

Australian and American Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Gas, Vintage Gas, Classic Bikes, Nostalgia Outlaws and Junior Fuel categories will be barreling down the track over the two days for the Nostalgia Nationals. Competition will be held on both Saturday and Sunday – qualifying from 11am-4pm Saturday, racing from 10am-3pm on Sunday.

For history buffs, there are many beautiful historic drag racing machines on hand – but they aren’t just for show – they’ll be showing off the sheer power they possess, exactly as they were in their heyday.

Saturday will see the Super Swap Meet, where traders and buyers can swap parts, memorabilia, collectables and anything Hot Rod, Street Machine, Drag Racing and Vintage car related.

Buyers can expect an array of collectables and hard to find parts in addition to mingling with fellow enthusiasts who are on hand to share their stories and expertise.

As part of the Nostalgia Nationals and Super Swap Meet, visitors will be able to visit trade stands, as well as observe the other activities operating as part of the weekends’ festivities, including a Show and Shine and a cruise.

The Nostalgia Nationals will run from the 13th – 14th of August, with Saturday qualifying from 11.00am – 4.00pm and the finals on Sunday between 10.00am and 3.00pm.

Gates will open at 5.30am on Saturday for ‘Super Swap Meet’ traders and the annual event will run from 6.00am – 11.00am for buyers, trader sites are $10 and $3 for buyer with children under 13 free.
