31st Annual Street Series
This year Willowbank Raceway celebrates the 31st Annual Street Series! Here’s your opportunity to take part in one of the popular racing series in QLD. Get yourself into the series and compete in 6 rounds (plus the finals)
As per 2023 there will be 4 championships available in 2024, OldSkool, NewSkool, Powder Puff and Street Bike.
If you have not run in the Street Series before and you wish to earn points for the series, you will need to register. This can be done via the Street Series Information and Invitation link below.
SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Spectator Prices – ONLINE
Adults - $22*
Students & Concession with ID - $20*
- Concession prices/tickets are for Age & Disability pension, DVA white & gold card holders with "in date" ID only
Children 13 years and under must have an entry ticket**

Spectator Prices – AT THE GATE by Credit/Debit Card only

TICKET INFORMATION:
- Tickets will be available at the gate on the day by debit/credit card only, no cash.
- When purchasing multiple tickets, you can share the ticket or change the name of the ticket to the name of the spectator attending.
- Anyone that is unwell must not attend the event
- All spectators must practice personal hygiene and social distancing
Times
- Gates Open - 3pm
- Time Trials - 3.30pm to 6:30pm
- Racing - 7:00pm
- Times are estimates and may change on the day depending on entry numbers
Competitor information
Racer/crew entry to the event will be under the below conditions.
Entries must be received by midnight the Wednesday prior to the event day.
Racer entry - $ 110
Crew passes - $22 each Crew Tickets include a $2.00 non-refundable processing fee
To enter you need to log in to the website and go to the 'Racer' tab and click 'Enter Race' this will take you to the events open for entry. Please fill out all details including your Street Series number under IHRA race number.
How to Download Your Tickets
Cars:
- Must run treaded DOT tyres, tyres marked NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE are strictly forbidden
- Must run full exhaust
- Must run full interior
- No after-market electronics with the exception of computers for EFI cars. Excluded items include line-locks, transbrakes, two steps, throttle stops, delay boxes etc.
Bikes:
- All Rider and safety regulations applicable to IHRA street bike eliminator must be complied with as a minimum.
- Must run 9.00 or slower.
- Bikes must be foot shifted.
- Extended swingarms and wheelie bars are not permitted.
- OEM ecu must be used but may be supplemented with aftermarket controllers, e.g., quick shifters.
- Late model bikes with FACTORY fitted OEM controllers such as traction control. wheely control etc allowed but must be factory fitted for model of bike.
- front suspension straps allowed “bike must maintain static height of 50mm clearance as per IHRA rules.
- model specific OEM fuel tank must be in place and utilised for fuel storage.
- All motorbikes must bear full street equipment, including instruments, mudguards, wiring harness, etc.
- Indicators and mirrors may be removed.
- Original appearing headlight and taillight must be used and operational
- Fairings and windscreens must be in place and secured properly for the model of bike.
- Any DOT tyre permitted - DRAG SLICKS not permitted.
- full charging and self-starting system is required – no push starting allowed
Series Rules: All competitors will be permitted to run in one of the following Series and points earned in that series will not transfer to another series if the competitor chooses to change:
The four series to earn points are:
NewSkool Street Sedan Series: Open to all cars that have a factory compliance of no more than 25 years from commencement of year of series (ie. 2024 series is for 1999 and newer compliance vehicles). This 25-year benchmark will move every year to keep vehicles current
The following 2 brackets form the Newskool Series
Cars will earn points in each Bracket to form part of the NewSkool Street Series. These brackets (QUICK AND STREET) will be listed separately on the points table after each event. If you choose to change your bracket during the season, the points you have earned prior to that round will stay in the original bracket you had entered under, and these round points will be listed under the new contested bracket.
OldSkool Street Sedan Series: Open to all cars that have a factory compliance of more than 25 years from commencement of year of series (ie. 2024 series is for 1998 and older compliance vehicles). This 25-year benchmark will move every year to keep vehicles year models current.
The following 2 brackets form the Oldskool Series
- OLDSKOOL QUICK 10.50 – 13.99, (vehicles quicker than 10.50 must comply with the IHRA rules and regulations)
- OLDSKOOL STREET 14.00 and slower.

Street Powder Puff Series: Open to ladies only. Ladies who choose to run the Powder Puff Series are not permitted to run the same vehicle in the Street or Bike Series. A vehicle competing in Street Sedan or Street Bike series driven by another person may compete with a different lady driver in the Street Powder Puff Series. Vehicles must fit within all rules and regulations.
Street Bike Series: Open to all street bikes 9.50 and slower.

Helmet Standards
While Willowbank Raceway has Street vehicles regulations, Willowbank Raceway is operating all events including Test n Tune and Street Series as an IHRA member track and all IHRA licenced vehicles /driver/riders must abide by the current IHRA Australian rule book at all Events.
