IT’S ON THIS SATURDAY
Willowbank Raceway is excited to be hosting the Stomper 1/8th mile Celebration this Saturday. With the blessing of the Winterburn family, this annual event will see a coming together of the drag racing and hot rod community to remember and celebrate the legacy of Stomper. This event will be a festive occasion featuring activities such as 1/8th mile drag racing, car and hot rod show, live music and what Stomper enjoyed most … partying!
Racing will be on track from midday with the finals scheduled for 5pm, After the racing activities conclude, a live band will play on into the night so camping will be available for anyone who wishes to stay at the raceway for the evening. We will have an array of finger food supplied and there will be a bar open (card only) next to the marquee. Dress up in your best American theme, bring a chair to sit by the fire and a tin of food for the Salvation army donation bin and we are sure there will be some great Stomper stories to be told!
Set aside this Saturday the 4th of September. Be prepared to have lots of fun and celebrate all things that Stomper held near and dear.
GATES OPEN – 9AM
ON TRACK – 12PM
FINISH ON TRACK – 5PM (if we have delays we will stop the event at 6pm where it stands)
SHOW N SHINE – 12PM – 5PM
STOMPERS CELEBRATION – 7PM
