SPONSORED AWARDS BOOST RACER’S HAUL AT DASH 4 CASH WHILE ENTRY RESTRICTIONS LIFTED

Willowbank Raceway has secured sponsor support of a number of special awards adding to the big money prize pools on offer to racers contesting the innovative Dash 4 Cash event on December 2nd . The event will be day two of a big weekend of action with the RCE Performance Warehouse Jetcar and Sportsman Thunder taking place on the Saturday. The minimum prizemoney payout of $5,000 is set to grow considerably with all buy back funds going straight into the pool and now a variety of special awards will further boost the haul available to competitors.

The previous requirement of having been already entered in the RCE Performance Warehouse Jetcar & Sportsman Thunder meeting to be able to enter the Dash 4 Cash has also been removed opening up the event to all including racers just wishing to test. Grudge runs will also be available to racers who bow out of eliminations early.

 

Car racers will compete for a minimum payout of $2,000 for the winner & $500 runner while the driver recording the best ‘Package’ during eliminations will win a $100 Open Order at the Willowbank Racegear Shop courtesy of Lifestyle Australia. The driver recording the best Reaction Time (or first .000) will receive a $100 Open Order courtesy of Performance Wholesale while the best reaction times in rounds one, two and three will win five litres of Gulf Western Comp-R Oil. The racers losing in the first round in both Open and Sedan by the smallest margin will have their $50 Buy Back into the second round paid for courtesy of Ken Lowe Fuel Systems and get another shot at the big money.

Competitors in Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson Bike will be racing for a minimum payout of $1,000 for the winner & $250 runner while the rider recording the best ‘Package’ during eliminations will win a $100 Open Order at the Willowbank Racegear Shop courtesy of Lifestyle Australia. The rider recording the best Reaction Time (or first .000) will receive a $100 Open Order courtesy of Allstar Batteries. The racer losing in the first round by the smallest margin will have his or her $50 Buy Back into the second round paid for courtesy of Ken Lowe Fuel Systems.

Competitors in SCG Race Parts Junior Dragster will also be racing for a minimum payout of $1,000 for the winner & $250 runner with the driver recording the best ‘Package’ during eliminations winning a $100 Open Order at the Willowbank Racegear Shop courtesy of Lifestyle Australia. The driver recording the best Reaction Time (or first .000) will receive a $100 Open Order courtesy of Performance Wholesale. The racer losing in the first round by the smallest margin will have his or her $50 Buy Back into the second round paid for courtesy of Ken Lowe Fuel Systems.

In addition to the category specific awards listed, the racer from any bracket running closest to their dial in (or first to run exactly on) during any round of eliminations through the day will receive a $100 Open Order from Allstar Batteries while the racer losing a run by the smallest margin across the day will also receive a $100 Open Order from Allstar Batteries. The Hard Luck Award will be chosen by the Commentary Team with a Performance Wholesale $100 Open Order going to the recipient.

In an added bonus for racers who may lose early, any competitors eliminated from the Dash 4 Cash racing event will also be able to stay on and do more runs by lining up in dedicated testing lanes. There will also be some grudge racing available, to settle some scores with your mates.

 

The Raceway has also decided to allow general testing of vehicles at the event. Entrants not wishing to participate in the main racing can select the “TESTING” class when entering, which is now available on the online entry system for Dash 4 Cash.
