Statement Regarding Event Conduct

Willowbank Raceway would like to thank everyone who attends and supports events held at our facility, and in particular those who show respect for the venue, our staff, volunteers and fellow members of the motorsport community.

From time to time, behaviour associated with the arrival or departure of patrons can create unnecessary risks to individuals, surrounding road users and the facility itself. This includes activities such as burnouts, excessive speed, dangerous driving or any other behaviour that may compromise the safety of others or cause damage to roads, infrastructure or property.

While Willowbank Raceway understands the passion and enthusiasm that comes with motorsport and recognises that many events are highly emotional and significant occasions for our community, safety must always remain our highest priority.

We have a responsibility to provide a safe environment for spectators, families, competitors, staff, volunteers and the wider community. We also have a responsibility to protect the facility and ensure it remains available for future events.

Any behaviour that places people at risk or causes damage to the venue is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

Willowbank Raceway strongly encourages everyone using the facility to act responsibly, respect the venue and consider the safety of those around them, particularly when entering or leaving the property.

We want Willowbank Raceway to remain a place where our motorsport community can come together to celebrate, compete and enjoy the sport we all love.

Safety, respect and responsible behaviour must always come first.

Penalties

Any breaches of the above-mentioned code may result in tribunal action. Penalties incurred may include suspension or cancellation of competition privileges, verbal or written warnings or in serious cases, fines and / or individuals being suspended from the venue and or event, or any other action deemed fit by Willowbank Raceway.
